Ascot Krabi Hotel - Ao Nang

We had a fantastic stay at Ascot in Krabi for 5 nights. The hotel is very relaxing and comfortable for both families and couples. It was great to only pay 3,000 baht per room, allowing us to save on our budget. The location is perfect, situated in the middle of a vibrant street with easy access to Ao Nang Beach. The tourist information center, Krabi Artemise Travel, is conveniently located right in front of the hotel, offering affordable tours for popular destinations like Phi Phi Island, Krabi Safari. They also provide bike rentals for 200 - 250 baht. Additionally, there is a fantastic halal restaurant called "'Number 1'" right across the street, serving delicious and affordable food. We are definitely planning to come back to Ao Nang and stay at this amazing hotel again.

Overall my friend and I enjoy the stay in the hotel. The hotel is clean and english speaking staff which help us alot during the stay in Krabi. The location is good. Near to all shop & beach, just walk along the road side about 20min will reach the beach. Along the roadside, there are many shop which can let us buy sourvenir, swimming pants, t-shirt.

The view from the rooms at the back of the hotel were amazing. The hotel also has a nice friendly feel.

Strategic location with halal restaurants, massage places, and shops nearby. Spacious, clean room with comfortable beds. Excellent shower option after checkout. Good location for Muslims near mosque and stalls. Great location, 5-10 min walk to beach. Lovely and helpful lady at the desk. Nice balcony overlooking busy strip but quiet with doors closed.

Very far from the beach, no English TV channels, broken toilet, on a very noisy main road.

The staff was very friendly & assisted us in a lot of ways even though she couldn't really speak English very well.

Great location near the beach, lots of water activities available. The hotel has everything you need, including laundry facilities and a restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is a bonus!

Moldy bathroom walls, dirty tiles, and yellow stained towels. Unsafe door lock, but hey, at least they moved me to a noisier room with a better condition!

Room is big and clean, and bathroom as well. Staff is friendly, internet avaliable on ground floor, can borrow books to read on the beach. Tea&coffee avaliable in rooms. Air con, safe in room.

Takes about 15 min to get to the beach, it's ok but not at the mid day when it's hot. TV is in the room, but only local canals are avaliable. No free wi-fi in rooms.

The units were probably the best looking on the beach.

Limited English made communication difficult.

The room, although a bit old, had a good mattress and a warm shower. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient with nearby restaurants.

The menu for breakfast could have been better.

The staff is just excellent and very heplful during all the time.

The furniture should be renovated

I booked for just one night as the price seemed good but wanted to check the place out. I ended up using the hotel as my main base while travelling around Krabi's islands. It's a clean and friendly hotel, convenient located about 10 minutes walk to the main beach with lots of bars and restaurants on the way. I would stay again as it's good value for money.

Convenient location with many nearby amenities such as restaurants, massage places, and shops. Rooms are comfortable with good water pressure and a balcony. Free daily water bottles and cleaning.

Lovely place. They have everything you need for a comfortable stay plus you can book some excursions directly. The owner is a star always wiling to help out and provide useful tips. The place is also just 10 minutes to the beach and you can enjoy some great food or shopping along the way.

We liked the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff nothing was to much trouble and their public relations was absolutely fantastic would certainly use again
